Studio Sessions
Our Friday Studio Sessions are a relaxed, shared studio time for anyone who would enjoy some dedicated time and space to work on their own art in the company of other creative people.
Amanda and Boris will be working on their own paintings and drawings too, so this isn’t a taught class. It’s an opportunity to settle into a working studio, work at your own pace, share ideas and conversation and put aside three hours to focus on your practice.
Reserve a table space or an easel space, bring along a project of your own, and make yourself at home.
Bring something you’re working on and spend an afternoon
making alongside artists Amanda Burton and Boris Cruse.
A few things to know
Studio sessions are for adults who are happy to work independently. You don’t need to be a professional artist or have lots of experience, just bring something you’d like to spend some time working on.
You’re welcome to bring your own art materials. Basic materials are also available free from our community art trolley.
If you’re not sure whether your project or materials are suitable for the studio, just get in touch before booking.
How Studio Sessions work
Friday Studio Passes are £15 and give you the afternoon to work alongside us at Northlight.
Choose either a table space or an easel space, depending on what you’d like to work on. Bring a painting, drawing, sketchbook or other creative project of your own, or simply arrive with an idea and see where the afternoon takes you.
There’s no set project and no formal teaching, just time to paint, draw, talk, exchange ideas and enjoy the atmosphere of a working artists’ studio.
Studio Pass · £15 per session
Fridays 1.30pm - 4.30pm
Places are limited, so advance booking is recommended.
