We want Northlight Arts Centre to feel welcoming and accessible to as many people as possible.

Getting In

Northlight has a street-level entrance with no steps, making access into the building straightforward.

  • The gallery, café and Blue Room are all on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible

  • There is space to move comfortably between tables and around the main areas

  • Seating is available throughout the centre

Inside the Centre

Conservatory, Terrace & Garden

  • The conservatory is accessed via a small step down from the gallery

  • The outdoor terrace and garden are accessed via a flight of steps

If you’re unsure about access to a particular area, just ask — we’ll always do our best to assist

  • An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor

  • Free visitor parking is available nearby

  • The centre is well served by bus routes between Leeds and Harrogate

Our workshops are designed to be welcoming and accessible to a wide range of abilities, including beginners.
