FELTING WORKSHOPS
Wet & Needle Felting Classes in Leeds
Create, connect, and craft with wool at one of our relaxing felting workshops at Northlight in Chapel Allerton Leeds.
Felting is a slow, sensory, and deeply satisfying art from - perfect for anyone who loves tactile art and is looking to unwind and relax. We host workshops in both wet felting (with water and soap) and needle felting (using barbed needles) to sculpt, shape, and design with wool.
This ancient process is simple yet magical: as you layer, shape, and gently agitate the wool, the fibres bond together to form sculptural vessels or textured landscapes, depending on the workshop.
You’ll learn hands on techniques from experienced felt artist Janine Jacques and artist and educator Lydia Rain in a supportive and inspiring setting. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, our workshops are a fun, creative escape and you’ll go home with beautiful felted pieces to treasure.
