Is Northlight Arts Centre wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our venue has a street-level entrance and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please note that the conservatory, garden, and terrace are not currently wheelchair accessible. There is one small step into the conservatory, and the garden terrace is accessed via stairs. We’re actively working to improve access in these areas.If you need any assistance on arrival, our team is happy to help.
Is there parking?
Yes! We have a free dedicated car park to the side of the building. Additional short-term bays are available at the front for loading and unloading (please note a 2-hour limit in these spaces).
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes, we offer baby changing facilities and pride ourselves on being a family-friendly venue. We also provide children's art materials, colouring books, and storybooks to keep little ones happy.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in public areas, including the café. You’re welcome to bring your dog while enjoying a coffee or exploring the gallery.
What are your opening hours?
Café & Gallery:
Monday: Closed (except for Mini Mondays soft play group)
Wednesday – Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday: 10:30am – 12:30pm (Café open, Gallery closed)
How do I get to Northlight Art Centre?
Yes, we’re easy to reach by public transport. Buses 2, 3, 3A, and the 36 Harrogate service all stop at Lidl on Harrogate Road. From there, we’re just a 2-minute walk down Potternewton Lane, behind the Technorth building.
